04Common questions

What brands ask us first.

What does an experiential marketing agency actually do?

We find your target audience where they live, work, shop and play, then build the face-to-face moment that gets them to try the product and buy it. In practice that means mobile tours, sampling programs, in-store demos, pop-ups and sponsorship activation — designed, staffed and run by us, then reported against the goal you set on day one.

Do you handle brand ambassador staffing, or do we hire the teams?

We recruit, cast, train and manage the teams. Brand ambassadors are cast to your consumer demographic rather than pulled off a general roster, and the same people run the program start to finish.

What markets do you cover?

The United States, nationally. We are Midwest based and staff every market from there — programs have run in every major DMA, and one insurance program covered the top 19.

How small a program will you take on?

A single-market test is a real project. Kwik Trip’s Red Zone tour was 60 stores in six weeks. AT&T U-verse started in one market and scaled to eight.

Can you activate a sponsorship we already own?

Yes, and a lot of our work is exactly that — making an existing sponsorship earn out. We managed American Family Insurance’s sponsorship assets for 14 years and activated UScellular’s through their lead agency.

What do we get back after the activation?

Interaction counts, leads, samples distributed, impressions, and sales impact where it can be measured — reported against the goal set at kickoff. If a market ran short, we say so and say what we did about it.

Where does digital fit?

Before, during and after. Paid and social ahead of the activation to fill it, lead capture and sharing on site, then couponing, loyalty, retargeting and post-event analytics to motivate purchase once the tent comes down.

How does a first conversation work?

Tell us what you need to move, who you need to reach and which markets matter. We come back with a concept — renderings, a market plan, staffing and a cost range built to your budget. No charge for that.
