01Case study / Kwik Trip

Twelve thousand conversations in six weeks.

Kwik Trip needed its chicken program in people's hands and its new mascot in front of a crowd. We ran the Red Zone Midwest Tour across 60 stores in six weeks, two brand ambassadors at every stop, and reported the count store by store.

The vehicle

The wrap arrived before the tent did. Every stop started with a vehicle people recognized from the road.

02What we ran
01 — The route

Sixty stores, two locations a day.

Two stores ran every activation day from March 24 through May 2, each with two brand ambassadors, a tent, signage and corn hole set before the first car pulled in. The route was built around store traffic rather than convenience, so the footprint landed where the volume already was.

02 — The mascot

RED had to meet people, not just exist.

The tour was the launch of RED, Kwik Trip's new mascot. We handled the character, the handler and the photo moment at every stop. Families queued for it and regulars drove in for it, and that connection did more work than any sign on the lot.

03 — The handoff

A giveaway in one hand, a coupon in the other.

Branded giveaway items pulled people to the table; the coupon sent them inside for the chicken program the tour existed to sell. Ambassadors also drove entries to the 2026 Chevrolet Traverse sweepstakes on qualifying chicken and Coca-Cola purchases.

03The results
Customer interactions12,000+across 60 stores in six weeks
Giveaway items distributed5,559averaging 94 per event
Roughly 200 interactions per event, holding a consistent 2:1 ratio of conversations to giveaways.
Peak day reached 155 giveaway items and more than 400 interactions at a single store.
RED launched to families and loyal customers, several of whom drove in specifically to meet the mascot.
Chicken promotion drove immediate purchase intent, with coupons redeemed on the same visit.
Weather set the ceiling. Cold early dates ran lighter, and that sat in the recap before it was asked for.
04In market

Forecourt footprints set before opening, staffed by teams cast to the store's own customer, and reported back store by store.
